A Universe of Short Stories Awaits

Gunslingers of the Solarsphere is a group world-building project. Each contribution builds the lore, whether it is a short story, a writing prompt or a blog of ideas/changes.

Each series is a story or collection of stories within the Solarsphere universe. Different series can be as interconnected or distinct as desired, at the author's discretion. The idea is to have freedom of direction and creativity, and build off each other's adventures.

Lore of the Solarsphere

In the early days of space-faring, humanity designed heat-resistant ships to study solar radiation. As they closely orbited the sun, one after one of these ships disappeared without a trace. People were perplexed, and in the fear of the unknown pulled back from advancing outwards.

Until one ship returned.

The Voice of the Void signaled Earth 14 months after vanishing, claiming to have suddenly warped to the surface of Pluto. A renewed interest in the mystery of the disappearing ships sparked a scientific gold rush.

Three centuries later, humanity has harnessed the power of space and time travel across the Solarsphere. In an age dominated by space-faring gunslingers, galactic exploration and epic battles, the possibilities are endless.
